Program Description

The Kirkpatrick Model represents more than just training evaluation. It forms the framework for the Kirkpatrick Business Partnership Model, a holistic process that creates, delivers and demonstrates training value.

In this program, you will learn how to build business partnerships and create collaborative plans to maximize business impact through all phases of the training and performance process. You will study worldwide best practices and share your own experiences in an interactive, conversational environment. You will use your own programs for application activities, so actual work gets completed during the session.

Particular attention is given to business acumen and speaking the language of the business when making your case for training resources and support. You will receive a workbook containing templates, samples and tools that will enable you to apply what you learned to all future programs within your company.

The Kirkpatrick Business Partnership Certificate Program was the predecessor to this program. It covered similar yet less comprehensive content. If you participated in that program, please call before registering for this one.

Dr. Jim Kirkpatrick

Dr. Jim Kirkpatrick is co-owner of Kirkpatrick Partners. He is a visionary and an expert in training evaluation and the creator of the New World Kirkpatrick Model.

Using his 15 years of experience in the corporate world, including eight years as a training manager, Jim trains and consults for corporate, government, military and humanitarian organizations around the world. He is passionate about assisting learning professionals in redefining themselves as strategic business partners to become a viable force in the workplace.

Parking
The Peabody offers front door valet parking as well as covered self-parking in a garage one block away.

Overnight valet parking: $33 per night
Overnight self parking: $24 per night

The parking entrance is located off 2nd Street at 118 2nd Street South, Memphis, Tennessee 38103. 

For valet parking, turn left down the ramp. 

For self parking, drive straight up the ramp. You may conveniently drop your bags with a valet parking attendant prior to parking your car.

The Peabody offers electric vehicle charging stations in the valet parking area.

Ground Transportation from the Memphis Airport
The Peabody Hotel is located 11 miles from the Memphis International Airport.

Private van or SUV service with transportation to the airport or local restaurants and attractions can be reserved in advance through The Peabody Concierge by calling 901-529-4000.

Peabody SUV: $90 airport transfer, up to 6 passengers
Peabody Van: $90 airport transfer, up to 11 passengers

Ride Sharing
Uber and Lyft are currently operating at Memphis International Airport. The pickup areas are located outside each of the A, B and C ticketing lobby exits on the outer commercial drive. Follow “Uber/Lyft” signage to the designated area for pickups. 

Taxi
Taxis depart from the center commercial drive in front of the Concourse B baggage claim area. A taxi coordinator is available to assist passengers with questions, concerns or special requests. Accessible cabs and baby seats are available upon request. Taxis are available from 6:00 a.m. Central Time until one hour after the last flight arrival.

Payment Options

Pay During Registration: Use your credit card, bank account, or PayPal balance. These transactions are processed through PayPal.

Register Now; Pay Offline: Request an invoice by clicking on "Show" under "Other Payment Options" at the bottom right corner of the second registration screen. 

You can pay the invoice with your credit card, check, or electronic funds transfer. 

Payment will be due 20 days from the invoice date, or 5 business days before the start of the program, whichever comes first.  

Upon registration, the cancellation policy is in effect whether you have paid or not.

Cancellation Policy

If you register for this program and for any reason are unable to attend, please notify us immediately.

11+ business days prior to program: Payment refund less $150 processing fee, or reschedule to attend a future program for a $150 processing fee, or substitute another attendee for the same program at no additional charge. 

6-10 business days prior to program: Substitute another attendee for the same program at no additional charge, or reschedule to attend a future program for a $300 processing fee.

5 business days or fewer prior to program, and no-shows: No refunds or transfers; substitute another attendee for the same program at no additional charge. 

If you reschedule a second time, another $150-300 processing fee will apply based on the time of transfer. If you still find yourself unable to attend after having rescheduled twice, you may send another attendee in your place, or forfeit your registration and any related payments.

Registrations are valid for one (1) year from the original booking date.

Communication Policy

Upon registration you are automatically added to our database, and you grant Kirkpatrick Partners permission to contact you to provide program materials and news updates via phone, mail and electronic means. You may unsubscribe from electronic communications at any time. Unsubscribing means you will not receive program-related messages for this program or future Kirkpatrick programs you might attend.
