Training on Trial Workshop Minimize

Training is “on trial”, being charged with incurring expenses in excess of its value to an organization. This workshop will prepare you to effectively demonstrate the value of training to the bottom line of your business.

Based on the book of the same name, this session explains which metrics are important to your “corporate jury”. You will come away with specific ideas for how to create true training value and obtain a “not guilty” verdict.

NEW! Maximizing Business Results From Training Minimize

This webinar is designed for training professionals and their business partners to attend together.  It is a starting point for a conversation about why measures like number of courses held and training attendance do not equal business value. It will bring to light the key metrics that matter most.

In this session the Kirkpatrick Foundational Principles will illustrate how training and the business can work together to create training programs with measurable bottom line value.

Here's What People Are Saying Minimize

Thinking of attending a Kirkpatrick training event?

You will obtain practical information you can apply right away on the job, guaranteed.

You don't have to take our word for it. Here is what past attendees have said about Kirkpatrick training events:

"Coming to the session as a team saved us a year's work!"

Carla Smith, Booz Allen Hamilton

"Since the program we have changed our entire way of thinking about Results and begun to ask Senior Leadership to articulate their expectations before we begin our training intervention."

Steve Powell, Healthcare Team Training, Inc.

"This was one of the most insightful and worthwhile training events that I've taken in awhile. Too often we think 'training design and development' and we don't spend nearly enough time in evaluation at the beginning."

Kat Siedlecki, Booz Allen Hamilton

"This 2-day investment was invaluable and will propel our strategic efforts to show training impact and organizational change. From my perspective, this demonstrates an authentic business partnership."

Heidi King, U.S. Department of Defense Patient Safety Program

"Our program leaders have already begun having more conversations with the 'stakeholders' in our training sessions. This is exciting, because I can see how people feel like we are a team, instead of us vs. them."

Leah Harrell, Marine Corps Family Team Building

"I put some of Don's concepts to work the very night of the presentation. I did some training at 10 P.M. that night for 3rd shift, and used the pre and post test to an effective end! Also, I'm having meetings today with several jury members to apply some of the concepts of your model."

Jim Waller, Adhesives Research, Inc.

Kirkpatrick Partners is a provider of training evaluation and business partnership training, products, consulting, and impact studies. Our work is based on the Kirkpatrick Four LevelsTM Evaluation Model created by Donald L. Kirkpatrick in 1954 as part of his PhD dissertation on the evaluation of the effectiveness of training for supervisors. It is expanded by the Kirkpatrick Business Partnership ModelTM and Kirkpatrick Foundational Principles.

Instead of training ROI, we focus on training Return on Expectations (ROE). This is a more holistic measurement of all of the benefits realized from a program or initiative, qualitative and quantitative. We offer courses and workshops on training evaluation and business partnership that equip training professionals to create, demonstrate, and measure the business results and value their training yields or supports.

Donald (Don), James (Jim), and Wendy Kirkpatrick are pleased to be united as Kirkpatrick Partners. Whether you want to earn your Kirkpatrick certification or simply create more value in your organization, we are here to help. Our programs are valuable whether you are a corporate employee, member of government, or an independent consultant.

The Kirkpatricks are the authors of nine books including Evaluating Training Programs, Implementing the Four Levels, Transferring Learning to Results, Kirkpatrick Then and Now, and Training on Trial.
